Free Medical Care 9/9 – 9/15 at Our Lady of Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church is hosting a free medical clinic September 9th, 2017 – September 15th, 2017. The clinic will be open from 8 am – 6 pm.  Medical exams, tetanus shots, prescriptions, first aid and more will be available. Check out the flyers below for more information!

Disaster Unemployment Assistance

If you lost your job because of Hurricane Harvey, you may be eligible for disaster unemployment assistance.  The Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) Program provides unemployment benefits and re-employment services to persons who lost their job because of a major disaster.

The Deadline to Apply for Fort Bend County residents is September 27th, 2017. To start the application process click here. You may also call the Texas Workforce Commission Call Center at 800-939-6631 between hours of 8 am to 5 pm.

Airbnb Hosts Open Their Homes for Free for Harvey Survivors

First, guests must create a free, verified Airbnb account or log into their current account. From there, guests visit the Airbnb Disaster Response page to view active events. Guests located in the affected area may view $0 listings by visiting the link above and clicking “Find shelter.”
There are also emergency shelters operating in Fort Bend County.
